Too Famous To Get Fully Dressed

Gig // Toby Kaar, Low Sea, Last Days of 1984 @ Crawdaddy

Thursday night sees the latest installment of the POD/Heineken Music Future Bright concert series that’s been running for the past year or so in Crawdaddy.

Cork electronic musician Toby Kaar heads up a line-up that also included the Low Sea, the Last Days of 1984, VerseChorusVerse (Tony Wright of And So I Watch You From Afar’s solo project) and Bantum, as well as DJ sets from Le ,Galaxie and Logikparty. The whole thing was put together by Dublin blogger Nay (a.k.a. Harmless Noise),  the first blogger so far to get her dirty mitts on the Future Bright steering wheel.

As the line-up suggests, it’s gonna be a bit of a dancey one and at only €5 a ticket there’s really no excuse for not going along. To read more and hear sample tracks from all of the night’s performers, head over to Harmless Noise (although I guess you’ll have to wait for Soundcloud to start working again).

In the meantime, check out the Last Days of 1984’s free Animal Collective-y single ‘River’s Edge’:
