Too Famous To Get Fully Dressed

Ahhh, sandwiches!

I’ll Eat Your Face // MC Hammer cover

Update: The Boy has successfully pointed out the song in question is DaHool’s ‘Meet Her at Love Parade.’ You may now proceed to pop a responsible number of pills.

Not sure how I missed this when it was posted a week or so back, but cheers to Drop-D for throwing it out into my radar.

When you think about grindcore, you think about Cork. More specifically, you think about I’ll Eat Your Face. You definitely don’t think about DRACULACORE.

Here’s I’ll Eat Your Face playing a short cover medley in Fred Zeppelin’s in Cork, consisting of one very well-known but frustratingly unidentifiable dance tune (Songtapper suggests ‘Mmmbop’ by Hanson and ‘Don’t Stop Moving’ by S Club – umm, no) and MC Hammer’s Rick James-sampling ‘U Can’t Touch This.’ Whether they meant to pay homage to Hammertime or the Chic genius I don’t know, but it’s all good and MC Hammer looks better in a blog title.

After you’ve done the decent thing, click on over to the group’s Bandcamp and download their debut album, Irritant, for an insanely cost-effective nothing.

Check it.
